I had an awesome day today! My schoolmates and I participated in our School Sports Day. We had plenty of fun.
First, I joined the long jump. I ran to the starting line and jumped as far as I could. I waved my arms in the air like a chicken trying to fly.
Woosh! I landed and the sand flew everywhere. I was the second runner-up. Hurray!
Then, I joined the three-legged race with Doah. ‘Bang!’ went the starter. Suddenly, two pairs fell down. There were only three pairs left.
We were the first runner-up.
After that, I joined the 100 m race. I was the slowest because I was exhausted after the two races. But when I heard my friends cheer for me,
I was boosted. I ran like Superman to the finishing line. I was the champion. It was amazing!
I enjoyed my Sports Day very much. I felt exhausted but pleased for myself because I won the 100 m race. I hope we can have Sports Day every month.
I want to be a tour guide when I grow up because I am creative and talkative. So I think I would be a very good tour guide.
I have the premium pass to Ocean Park so I go to Ocean Park almost every week. I also have taken classes that teach me about animals and nature recently.
It’s a very social job.
A tour guide has three main duties which include planning tours, doing talks and making the tourists interested in the tour and
teach the tourists about how to protect animals and nature. First of all, you need to be creative to plan the tour.
You cannot bring the tourists to boring places but you must take them to entertaining places like the Ocean Theatre on the Giant Panda Habitat.
You have to be very talkative and bilingual because sometimes the tourists may not hear or understand what you are saying.
And in order to teach people how to protect nature and animals, you must be well informed about animals and nature.
In conclusion, I really hope I can be a tour guide when I grow up because it’s a very meaningful job.
